Shipping Less, Shipping Better
There is a quiet pressure in software to ship constantly. Weekly releases. Daily features. A changelog that never breathes.
I used to play that game. The work was fine. The work was never great.
These days I aim for fewer releases and more care per release. Each thing that ships gets a long look. Most things that almost ship don't. That's the part nobody talks about — the work you decide not to do.
